Traveling by train was part of my everyday life. While on it I spent my time observing people and imagining their lives. Who are they? Where are they from? What do they do? After a while I started photographing them.

“Ghosts” is just one of the series made on the train. Its peculiarity is that it was created in the winter period, when the nights are long and the days are short. All photos are taken with the phone. Due to the lack of light, I used the painting technique. People began to take unusual forms, their faces took on the appearance of monsters living in closets or in haunted castles.

Did they take such forms by chance or did I manage to immortalize that monster that lives in each of us?

Personally, this is my favorite series. I let my imagination run wild. I enjoyed the play of light and darkness.
